Joy Bakery
Problem
Strong product, weak presence. Joy Bakery's packaging, menu and social imagery were produced ad-hoc over years — customers loved the taste but nothing about the brand said it.
Objective
Reposition Joy Bakery as a premium neighborhood bakery: a brand worth gifting, an Instagram feed worth following and imagery that lifts delivery-app conversion.
Strategy
Anchor the brand in warmth and craft rather than price. Build one visual system that works from box to billboard, then feed it with a repeatable photography formula the bakery can sustain monthly.
Creative direction
Cream and toasted-gold palette, soft daylight photography, close crops on texture — steam, crumb, glaze — with clean typography that stays out of the food's way.
Execution
- Brand identity refresh: logo refinement, palette, typography and packaging suite
- Two-day menu shoot: 40+ dishes styled and photographed
- Delivery-app image set optimized for small thumbnails
- Social templates and a 3-month content calendar
Deliverables
- Refined identity & guidelines
- Packaging system (boxes, bags, stickers)
- 40+ retouched menu images
- Social template kit & calendar
Results
Packaging customers photograph and share unprompted
A consistent, recognizable feed replacing years of mixed imagery
Stronger presence on delivery apps with appetite-first thumbnails
Before
Phone-shot photos, mismatched packaging, a feed with no visual thread.
After
One warm, crafted system across packaging, menu, social and delivery apps.
